Stiggenasty continues his artistic journey of rediscovery with the new single “(Just Like) Arcadia,”. Marking the second chapter in a powerful musical rollout, the track sees Stig once again dive into the songs and moods that have shaped him throughout a lifetime in music—this time with a reimagining of an understated, nearly forgotten gem now brought vividly back to life.

“(Just Like) Arcadia” is an atmospheric, dream-laden and melodically rich interpretation where Stiggenasty’s vocal delivery and aesthetic merge with a nostalgic, cinematic soundscape. The track draws inspiration from synth-based pop and alternative indie from an era when ambitions were sky-high and the music shimmered somewhere between darkness and light.

Sune Wagner (The Raveonettes) features on the single, adding a raw, noise-tinged romantic edge that expands Stiggenasty’s sonic universe while keeping the song’s emotional core firmly in focus.

The Trentemøller Mix – a dream collaboration

The release is accompanied by an exclusive Trentemøller mix. With his signature cinematic touch, Trentemøller creates a darker, colder and more hypnotic version of the track—highlighting the tension between dream and reality and opening a new path into Arcadia.
