D:A:D (short for Disneyland After Dark) was formed in Copenhagen, Denmark, in the early 80s by Jesper Binzer (vocals/guitar), Jacob Binzer (lead guitar), Stig Pedersen (bass), and Peter Jensen (drums). Early in 1999, drummer Peter Jensen left the band, and was replaced by Laust Sonne.

D-A-D has existed longer than any other bands in Danish rock-history with 30 years running so far – without any breaks or detours. 30 years where D-A-D has managed to stay on top of Danish music – always with a sound of their own, humor, nerve and a sense of the visual. And they still have the hunger to climb new mountains and challenge themselves.
